The NED Show Comes to Kilmer 

Students were treated to a wonderful character building assembly program called the NED Show. The NED presenter taught the students the meaning of the NED acronym. N - Never give up, E - Encourage others, and D - Do your best.  The presenter used a high energy format while telling a humorous story to gain the interest of the students. There were also exciting tricks performed using a yo-yo. "We are extremely grateful of the efforts of our PTA to bring in this great assembly program that is aligned with our character education  initiatives." - Dr. Morton

Alex's Lemonade Stand 

Spearheaded by the efforts of Denise Roskey (5th grade teacher) the fifth grade students from Joyce Kilmer School helped to raise over $2500 in support of the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
